Ponder this. Why would God permit evil to occur? Why does He allow bad things to happen to good people?

Ponder this. I've recently noticed that the way a person drives may have a direct correlation to their personality. I'm pretty confident that most of you have witnessed this as well.

Ponder this. How many times have you heard that freedom means doing whatever you want as long as we don't hurt anyone else?

Ponder this. I was a crew member of a sailboat racing team. I should tell you that I never really developed sea legs, so my contributions to the team left a little to be desired.

Ponder this. Have you ever been so hungry that not only is your stomach growling, but you become lightheaded and shaky? Your blood sugar has hit an all-time low.

Ponder this. All of God's children, you and I, have been created in God's own image. It's hard to fathom, isn't it?

Ponder this. We sometimes hear newly married couples discuss their future life as a family.

Ponder this. Most people want to have a good day every day. In order to do this, we must start our day with gratitude and keep an attitude of gratitude throughout the day.

Ponder this. It's amazing how many of us choose to go about our daily life without recognizing others who cross our paths each day.

Ponder this. We intake oxygen every time we breathe, and breathing is how we stay alive. When God first created man, He breathed life into him.

Ponder this. Imagine for a moment that you are lying on your deathbed. This is a great exercise to do each day in preparation for your very last day on earth.

Ponder this. I was having lunch with a friend who was also interested in learning more about the Catholic faith in order to possibly convert.

Ponder this: Do you enjoy the work you do each day? Some of us love our jobs. Others, well, not so much.

Ponder this: Are you guilty of the deadly sin of gluttony? Most people think gluttony is overeating or drinking in excess, which definitely fall under this category, but gluttony also includes consuming or doing most anything to an excess.

Ponder this. Do you ever pray to God for something you really want or need? Do you ever feel like your prayers were never heard or answered?

Ponder this. Judgment Day, the day you go before the Lord face to face.

Ponder this. Most of us in America have more than we need to sustain ourselves, like a roof over our heads, food to eat, and clothes to wear, and much more.

Ponder this. Adding a drop of water to a mostly filled glass of water would not make a noticeable difference. However, adding a drop of arsenic to the same glass of water could be deadly. Likewise, how is it that one person can change the world and another make no noticeable difference?

Ponder this. Do you think the world is heading off the rails and that many people have become unhinged? In America, we see people rioting, looting, and even killing to express dissatisfaction and disagreements with contrary lifestyles and points of view.

Ponder this. I was recently talking with a friend who said she was praying to God for her to accomplish big things. And by the way, this friend is currently reaching many through her writings and podcasts, but she wanted to do even bigger things for God.
