Go To Your Heavenly Mother
Ponder this. We are all familiar with the Fourth Commandment, which is one of the Ten Commandments, not suggestions, given to us by God. Honor thy father and thy mother.
This commandment goes deeper than our earthly parents. It also applies to honoring our heavenly parents, God the Father and the Virgin Mary, God's mother and our mother in heaven.
Did you even know you have a loving and very powerful mother in heaven? Remember when our Lord was hanging from the cross just before he gave his life for us? He gave to all of us his mother when he told John the beloved Apostle, behold your mother.
Like St. John, we are to take Mary into our hearts and into our homes. She will nurture and care for us as only a good mother can do. Go to your heavenly mother and pray for her to intercede with all of your needs and desires.
She is your advocate. Her soul magnifies the Lord and your request will be brought to the Lord magnified.
