Ponder this. Adding a drop of water to a mostly filled glass of water would not make a noticeable difference. However, adding a drop of arsenic to the same glass of water could be deadly. Likewise, how is it that one person can change the world and another make no noticeable difference?

Ponder this. Do you think the world is heading off the rails and that many people have become unhinged? In America, we see people rioting, looting, and even killing to express dissatisfaction and disagreements with contrary lifestyles and points of view.

Ponder this. I was recently talking with a friend who said she was praying to God for her to accomplish big things. And by the way, this friend is currently reaching many through her writings and podcasts, but she wanted to do even bigger things for God.

Ponder this. We have all heard the well-known verse from sacred scripture: I'm the way, the truth, and the life. Most of us understand the Lord's way, which is the way of the cross, and the Lord's truth, because the Lord is truth Himself.

Ponder this. I was recently walking into a department store and noticed many decorations for an upcoming federal holiday.

Ponder this. I have a hunch as to why many people don't pray, don't go to Holy Mass, and don't think it matters whether or not they believe in God. The center and focus of life is not God, but rather their personal happiness and pleasure.

Ponder this. We have all heard the expression, "you are what you eat." By that definition, it makes many of us fast, easy, and cheap, like the food we eat.

Ponder this. Wind chimes. Have you ever noticed that people who have wind chimes rarely have to hear them clink?

Ponder this. Motherhood. I come from a generation of women who were sold a bill of goods: that we could bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan, and still take care of our man.

Ponder this. Do you ever think about what will happen to you after you leave this world? You know, after you die? Many of us don't want to think about this, and sometimes we think that dying is for others and not for us. 

Ponder this. Every country, state, and city has a border. These borders exist to define the country's language and culture, currency and commerce, and its laws and regulations.
