Ponder this. I have a hunch as to why many people don't pray, don't go to Holy Mass, and don't think it matters whether or not they believe in God. The center and focus of life is not God, but rather their personal happiness and pleasure. The meaning of life is often boiled down to common models like "live and let live," "love is love," or simply "be kind."

If this describes you or someone you know, it's probably because you believe your life ends when you die. Or at least when you die, you'll be in a better place. This is a blatantly false notion, and if you are hearing this, you have time to make a course correction.

If you die and you are separated from Christ, the eternal tropics may be your final destination. Hell is real, and many go there. You must decide right now to change your life and to head to heaven. It means you'll probably lose friends, have to carry a heavy cross, and endure many challenges, just as Christ did. Pick up your cross today. It will change your life and lead you to heaven.
