193 - Pray God's Will Be Done

Ponder this. I was recently talking with a friend who said she was praying to God for her to accomplish big things. And by the way, this friend is currently reaching many through her writings and podcasts, but she wanted to do even bigger things for God. My comment to her was, perhaps God did not want bigger things from her and that doing more was her wish and maybe not God's.

When we pray, we may wanna follow the same path that Jesus did in the Garden of Gethsemane. We should make our desires known, but ultimately we should ask that not our will be done, but God's will. And then continue to pray for God's will to be done in and through you. After praying in this manner, we must then trust that the Lord will answer our prayers in accordance with His will for each one of us in order for us to get to heaven and to bring as many people with us as possible. 

Pray, trust, and persevere in prayer. This is the path.
