Why Did God Make You?

Ponder this. Why did God make you? This is one of the very first questions posed by the nuns who taught me in the first grade. The answer still rolls off my lips as easily as it did a half-century ago: God made us to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him, so that we might spend all of eternity with Him.
This goes to the very core of our purpose in life, which is to know, to love, and to serve God. It's amazingly simple, yet many people search for life’s purpose and come up short. All we have to do is turn to God in everything we do and follow His commands.
Whenever you have decisions to make, big or small, turn to God for His advice first. In fact, a great way to start your day is to ask God for His help and guidance. Ask Him to help you get to know Him better. He will lead you on a path that will bring you peace and joy.
Remember, if you get to know, love, and serve God each day, your life will change, and the results are out of this world.
