170 - We Are God_s Jelly Beans

Ponder this. Jelly beans, these little nuggets of sweetness come in a variety of colors and flavors, some standard and some more exotic. Most of us have our favorites, or at least the ones we want to avoid. Perhaps the most controversial jelly bean is the black licorice one. It's one of my personal favorites, along with the buttered popcorn and cinnamon. But many people, especially children, steer clear of this licorice bean.

In many ways, people are a lot like jelly beans. We come in many different flavors, and our particular flavor is not necessarily enjoyed by all. Some of us are outgoing, others are shy. Many of us are temperamental or even disagreeable, while others are easygoing. Some are sports enthusiasts, while others may enjoy more cerebral activities.

Even though we are all different flavors, we are all in the same bag. God made us all unique but put us on this earth to share our flavor with others. When we accept that God created each of us to be His flavor of the day, we can learn to enjoy the other flavors He has created.
