Ponder this. Sacred Scripture has much to say about life and how precious life is to God. In both the Old and New Testaments, life is the fundamental issue before anything else the Lord speaks about in the Bible.

From Jeremiah the prophet: "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you," says the Lord.

From Psalm 139: "You knitted me together in my mother's womb."

And from the prophet Isaiah: "The Lord called me from the womb; from the body of my mother, He named my name."

All of us were created by God, who breathed life into our souls before we even took our first breath outside the womb.

Before you cast your vote at the polls on Election Day, find out where each candidate stands on the issue of life. Do they support the biblical teaching that God created all life and that life begins at the very moment of conception in the womb?

No other issue we face matters if we don’t first have life. Make life the threshold issue before casting your vote. Vote only for candidates who support life.

Voting for life matters—at every election, at every level of government.
