Ponder this. Many of us wonder what our purpose is on this Earth. Each day we have a routine we follow that sometimes gets tedious, monotonous, and often painful. This may cause us to ponder the fundamental questions like, What is my purpose in this life? Why am I here? And will I ever be happy? Perhaps a more relevant question to ponder is, Am I doing what God wants me to do each day?

Ultimately, God's plan for each and every one of us is to get to heaven, where we can spend an eternity in His presence. Our heavenly home has been prepared for each one of us who have loved and served God here on Earth. We show our love by following all that He commands of us each day.

Living each day by following Christ is often not easy and sometimes does not make sense. You see, our life on this Earth is like the wrong side of a tapestry, where there are many loose threads, knots, and kinks and no clear image. In eternity, we are on the other side of the tapestry, where we can see clearly what a beautiful life God has prepared for those who love and follow Him.
