172 - The Truth of the Matter

Ponder this. All of us have opinions. Some of us have very strong opinions and are not afraid to express them. Many with strong opinions believe their views are the truth. For example, many hold strong opinions on the issue of climate change. This issue, like most scientific ones, is rarely settled. As more information is acquired, opinions can and should change. If you ever hear the term "the science is settled," you can be sure you are being played.

One thing that never changes is the truth. Unlike an opinion or a scientific theory, truth is unchanging and eternal. Truth is immutable. The fact of the matter is that there is only one eternal truth, and the truth is a Person—Jesus Christ. He is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. If you want to know the truth in all matters, turn to the Person who is all truth—Jesus Christ. He will guide you to all that is good and true.
