The Passage of Time

Ponder this. The passage of time. This phrase has been the popular subject of one of our political leaders, and what a profound phrase it is. Indeed, time passed cannot be recalled or changed. It is what it was.
Maybe you had a bad childhood with parents that were not attentive to your needs, or, worse, abandoned you altogether. Perhaps you, yourself, have been a bad parent, an unfaithful spouse, or a lazy employee. Those times are in the past.
It's now time to pull it together. Recognize your past, seek forgiveness from those you have wronged, and forgive those who have wronged you. And today, the present, vow to make the most of the time you have. Seek to know what God wants of you, and then do it. The present time is what we have, and it is ours to spend.
Let's make an honest effort every day to spend our time pleasing God. How do you please God? Get to know Him, love Him, and serve Him. We have the manual, and He gave us His Church.
Today is the day to seek the Lord while He may be found.
