Ponder this. We are living in a world that has changed since a virus swept the planet. Most people are still living in fear—fear of this contagion that they've either had or been vaccinated against. These are the folks that supposedly have developed antibodies and are protected from reinfection, or at the very least, a very mild case if re-exposed.
Many continue to wear a face mask, even when not required. Some don masks while driving alone in their cars. And we have designer masks that have sequins and trendy fabrics with slogans and favorite sports teams' logos on them. Masks are worn indoors by many, just in case. Just in case of what, you might ask? The answer is simple: it's because of fear. It's the fear factor.
So why all the fear? We are afraid of intimidation and death. But there is an antidote to this fear. It is faith—faith in Jesus Christ. It is that simple. If you are driven by fear, seek the Lord and obey all that He commands. Your fear will be replaced by peace, a peace only Christ can give.
