Prayers To End Conversation

We've all heard the exclamation "Stay safe" when ending a conversation with others. Or perhaps the most common ending thought in a conversation is the familiar exclamation, "Have a nice day." Both statements can be viewed as nice thoughts, but do they really make a difference? After all, who wouldn't want to be safe, and who wouldn't want to have a nice day?
Does someone telling us this really make a difference in your safety and happiness? And have you ever had a nicer day because someone has closed a conversation with these words?
Let's find a more meaningful way to end conversations. Why not leave a conversation invoking God in the power of prayer? "May God bless your day," and "May the good Lord keep you safe today" are perhaps better expressions to end a conversation. You can truly be an instrument of peace to others by leaving them with a meaningful prayer.
So let me leave you with this: May God bless you and all that you do today.
