Prayer Is Life Changing

Ponder this. Do you ever wonder if praying makes a difference? Perhaps you have asked God for special favors that you have not received. So you figure that praying does not work, or you may even start to doubt the very existence of God.
Prayer is like the sun. Consider this: if you sit out in the sun for 15 minutes a day, you may not notice the difference it makes in the tone of your skin. But after a month of sunbathing each day for a quarter of an hour, you may notice that your skin tone is changing and that you have more energy.
Prayer works a lot like the sun. If we take time each day to pray, I mean actually set aside time to pray like you would set aside time to be out in the sun, your life changes in ways that you may not notice. And God hears and answers all prayers in accordance with His will for us, which means that God does not necessarily answer our prayers according to our requests and in our time frame.
Prayer requires our patience and our trust in God. If we persevere and trust, prayer is life-changing. See for yourself. Pray with passion every day.
