Nothing Is Ever Enough

Ponder this. Do you have a roof over your head? Food to eat, and the basics to get through each day? But perhaps this is not enough. Most of us always want more.
Let's take a look at the television. For me, as a child, there was only one TV in the house, and it was probably about 21 inches. Modern technology back then meant that we had a clicker, a channel changer. Today, our TVs are huge, and there's no clicking involved in selecting a program. We can talk to our electronics and voila!
Let's step back further in time when God created the earth. Adam and Eve were placed in a garden of paradise. But this wasn't enough. They were tempted by the false advertising of a serpent. They succumbed because they wanted more.
Today we still want more than we need, and we want it bigger, better, and faster. We must realize that peace and contentment only come through Jesus Christ, and cannot be satisfied with earthly goods, because with earthly goods, nothing is ever enough.
