Ponder this. All of us want clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and food to eat that is nutritious and whole. In fact, most of us go to extra lengths to ensure that what enters our bodies will make us healthy and strong. After all, staying healthy often means living a longer and more enjoyable life.
But do we stop to consider the pollution we allow to enter our senses? Do we fill ourselves daily with moral pollution that we see and hear on television, in movies, in videos, and in music? Do we allow violence, pornography, and offensive language to enter our minds?
Perhaps we have become so desensitized to inappropriate content that we no longer notice it. It's time to consider purifying the moral garbage that has become a part of our day. Start today to clean up the moral pollution in your life and make room for the Lord. Allow God to fill your body, mind, and soul with His love for you.
