Make The Most Of Each Day

Ponder this. Each day we live, we are one day closer to the day we die. You might say that this is a rather morbid way to look at life, but we must face the facts. We have a limited time on this earth, and as each day passes, that number shrinks and never increases.
The good news is that we were all created at this time and in this place to make the most of the time God has given us. We can either cooperate fully in God's plan for us, or we can do our own thing, disregarding God and His will for us.
By current standards, most of us—even those who believe in God—are not participating in God's divine plan for them. So where does that leave us? Many of us live each day unfulfilled, always seeking more from others or from the government in an effort to find peace and justice. Some are angry and turn to violence. Many are depressed or anxious.
In all of the chaos around us, there is a simple answer: turn to God. Pray, read Scripture, and follow the teachings of His Church. Make the most of each day God has given you.
