Ponder this. God. Do you really believe in God? If you do believe, what does this require of you? Scripture tells us that if you believe in God, you will have eternal life. Many of us can check off the belief-in-God box. Unfortunately, this is not all that Scripture tells us. After all, even demons believe in God and tremble. Belief requires a response and action.

Say you believe the Earth is warming and climate is changing. This requires you to live what you believe. It means you must adjust your life to the standard, and it may require you to travel less, use less, and promote this concept to others.

Truly believing in anything, especially God, compels you to learn as much as you can about that which you proclaim to believe. Get to know the God you say you believe in. Talk to Him throughout the day. Learn what He has to say about how you should be living your life through His Word and in His Church.
