Ponder this. Do you ever feel like you're not being treated fairly? Maybe you feel like you should be earning more money, receiving better grades in school, or getting more recognition for all the things you do for your family, friends, and community.

Fairness is often based on comparing what others receive to what we feel we are not receiving. We see what is given to someone else and feel that it’s being withheld from us. However, in God's eyes, He sees each of us as His unique creation. God does everything necessary for our eternal salvation.

Sometimes it may feel like others have it so much easier in life, that our burdens are heavier, and that others receive more benefits than we do. But we must trust that God knows exactly what we need, when we need it, and for how long we need it.

Rather than comparing your life to others, thank the Lord for everything He sends your way, even the pains and discomforts of everyday life. Although from our human perspective life might not always seem fair, in God’s eyes, He gives us everything out of eternal love.
