Ponder this. Many of us believe in God, and this is a great start, but where must we go from here? Truly believing in God requires more than simply an acknowledgement of His existence. As the Bible clearly states, even the demons believe in God and tremble. So, are the demons saved because they believe in God? Of course not. They chose not to submit to God.

Believing in God requires more than a recognition of His existence. It requires a total commitment to everything God asks of us. In other words, we must be baptized and follow all of His commands, even the ones we don't like are inconvenient and require us to change our life. It means loving our neighbor, especially the ones who are difficult to love.

Following God means picking up our crosses daily, as Jesus did for all of us. It is not easy to follow the way of the Lord, but once we take the first step and commit to His every command, God's grace will flow through us, and our burdens will be light. Follow.
