Ponder this. God speaks to us in many ways, every moment of every day. Think about that for a moment. You may be thinking that God never speaks to you and you never hear His voice. In Sacred Scripture, the Lord tells us that His sheep, meaning His followers, hear His voice, they know His voice, and they follow Him.

If you are not hearing the voice of the Lord, perhaps you are outside His flock. This is not a good place to be. There is no peace outside of His flock. Sure, there may be fleeting pleasure, but no internal or eternal peace.

If you are one of His lost sheep, one who is not part of His flock, the Lord is calling you. He is seeking you. Listen for His voice. Ask Him to speak louder. If you're having trouble hearing Him, seek to be baptized by water and the Holy Spirit. Baptism is the initiation ceremony to your new life in Christ. Then keep listening and following Him.
