Depend On God

Ponder this. Often, we hear promises from politicians that sound really good. How often have we been promised things like free health care, free college, and free cell phones? How often have these promises been unfulfilled?
The fact is, virtually all of our physical needs come with a cost, and we must be willing to pay the tab. But the same is not so with God. God gives to us freely everything that we need in order to make it to heaven. And the good news is that we do not need a college diploma, a health insurance card, or a cell phone in order to get to heaven.
We simply need to depend on the Lord completely and trust in Him to provide for our every need. Trust in the Lord for the things that matter in life. Your physical needs will one day come to an end. Prepare your soul for eternity by listening to the voice of God and following His commandments. There are still ten of them, and they are not simply suggestions.
Start today to prepare for eternity, because eternity lasts a long time.
