47 - A Regular Cleaning Schedule

Ponder this. There is nothing like coming home to a clean house. Many of us have a regular cleaning schedule we adhere to in order to keep our homes neat and clean. After a good cleaning, we welcome guests into our homes, even unexpected drop-ins.

However, when our home is a mess, we can only hope there are no unexpected visitors.

Just like our homes, our souls also need a regular cleaning schedule from the sins we commit every day. The Catholic Church offers a sacrament for the cleaning of our souls: the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

If we adhere to a regular cleaning schedule for the soul, we become a clean vessel, ready to receive the Lord in the Eucharist. We can welcome Him at any time, whether it’s a planned Sunday Mass or a daily drop-in.

Consider adopting a regular cleaning schedule by receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation throughout the year. Allow our Eucharistic Lord to always enter the clean vessel you make for Him through this amazing sacrament of healing.

Become a pure vessel to receive your special Guest at each and every Eucharist.
