The Time of Your Life

Ponder this. Have you noticed that the passage of time speeds up as we age? When we are young and have our whole life ahead of us, time seems to move slowly. However, once we have more years behind us than in front of us, time speeds up. It's like watching the water drain from a bathtub.
A full tub represents our young life with many years ahead of us. When water is drained, when the tub is full, you hardly notice the water receding. As we age, and there are more years behind us than in front of us, our life races away like the water circling the drain.
You see, time is precious at all ages and stages. The time we have has been given to us by God. Whether it moves fast or slow, we must ask God for the grace to make the most of the time He gives us. Use every day to honor and serve the Lord, so that you won't let the time of your life go down the drain.
