The Real Presence is the Real Deal

Ponder this. Being Catholic fundamentally means believing in all that Holy Mother Church teaches. It means we Catholics cannot pick and choose which teachings we want to adhere to. It also means believing that Jesus Christ is truly present in the Eucharist, Holy Communion.
Interestingly, only 30% of Catholics believe in what is called the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. The other 70% believe that Holy Communion is merely a symbol, just like Protestants. Catholics who do not believe in the Real Presence put themselves in the same camp as Protestants.
Actually, the Bible itself identifies those who also could not believe in the Real Presence in the Bread of Life discourse in the Gospel of John. Jesus identifies those disciples who could no longer walk with Him because this teaching of eating His body and blood was just too hard.
Remember, God can do all things. He can and does make Himself present in the little host that is consecrated by a Catholic priest. The Real Presence is the real deal. Come and see.
