Ponder this. Each summer, most of us spend more time outdoors. Gradually, we may notice that our skin and our complexion changes without even realizing it. Our skin becomes darker after being exposed to daily sunlight. By summer's end, we may have a skin tone much deeper than we did in the spring.

In much the same way, each one of us changes after being exposed daily to the real Son, the Son of God. Putting yourself in the presence of our Lord every day will change you in ways you may not even notice. Just like your skin tone, you begin to become the best version of yourself, a better person each and every day.

Expose yourself daily to the light of Christ by spending quiet moments in silence, where the Lord can talk with you and you can hear His voice. Open up the Bible, where you will find God's message for mankind. Learn and follow the teachings of the Church. If you do this each day, your spiritual complexion will begin to change because you have exposed yourself to the brightest Son, the light of Christ.
