Ponder this. Do you ever stop and think about some of the crazy decisions our leaders in government make? For example, did you ever think the government could and would redefine marriage? What were our leaders and our judges thinking? After all, the sacrament of marriage is for the benefit of society as a whole. Only one man and one woman can naturally create another, new life. It's really that simple, one man and one woman, together with the children they bring into this world, form the very basic building block of society: the family. Without new life entering the world through the union of the husband and wife, the human race would become as extinct as the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

We find in Sacred Scripture that marriage and family are institutions created and defined by God. It is not up to we, the people, to change what God Himself has established since the beginning of time. Let’s always turn to God and His Word for the guidance we need in the big and little issues in our lives, and let’s always support leaders who honor and respect the Eternal Word of God.
