Road to Perfection

Ponder this. Often we think that God evolves with the times. When reading the inspired Word of God, the Holy Bible, one might think that the God of the Old Testament is not quite as nice as the God-man Jesus in the New Testament. The fact of the matter is that God is, and always has been, the same—yesterday, today, and always. He is perfect, and you can't improve on perfection. God got it right from the beginning of time. He does not evolve.
So where does that leave us, His creatures? Well, we do evolve, and the more we can form our life and our ways to those of the Lord, the more perfect we become. As you follow the narrow path to heaven, be prepared to carry a cross, as you will surely encounter much resistance and maybe even ridicule or rejection. If this happens, know that you are on the right path.
Even though we may hear our culture saying that no one is perfect, God says otherwise. We are called to be perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect. Ask the Lord to show you the way to perfection, and follow His way perfectly.
