Prepare for D-Day

Ponder this. Are you ready for D-Day? You know, the day you leave this world and travel to your eternal destination. You know what I'm referring to: the D word—death.
If you remember, there are only two things in this life that are certain: death and taxes. So, pay your taxes and prepare for death. Chances are, if you are prepared to meet your Lord, you have little or no fear of death. However, if you don't know God and His only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, you may be a little frightened by the prospect of leaving this earthly home.
So, how do you prepare? Very simply, ask the Lord to help you find peace in your life, and ask Him to help you understand and prepare for death. He will probably ask you to believe in Him, be baptized, be kind and forgiving to others, and follow His ways in all that you do. That’s it.
For help in following the Lord, open a Bible, read the Word, and follow the teachings of His Church. God will speak to you boldly and provide you with everything you need to be ready for your big day: D-Day.
