Make Daily Deposits In Your ERA

Ponder this. A great saint once said, "Our business is to attain Heaven. Everything else is a sheer waste of time." That pretty much says it all.
How much time do you deposit each day into your eternal retirement account? You know, your ERA? We should think about this each day as we rush around, double or triple tasking in order to manage our time. Yet it seems we never have enough time in our day to do the things we need or want to do.
How many of us devote even a small portion of time, much less spend adequate and sufficient time, on the business of attaining Heaven? Do we hear and follow the voice of the Lord who asks us to keep watch with Him for an hour? Or are you too tired and find yourself like the disciples, fast asleep and not attending to God?
Think about how you will spend your time today to ensure you have adequate resources in your ERA. Making daily deposits of prayer and devotion to Sacred Scripture will provide for you a robust eternity.
