God Speaks to Us

Ponder this. Did you know that the Bible is the Word of God? Think about that for a moment. It is God speaking to us, telling us what we need to do to live forever—to have eternal life, life after we die. God offers us life after we die, as long as we follow His Word. And His Word is a person, Jesus Christ. I don't know about you, but I want to spend eternity in heaven, and not in the eternal fires of the great abyss.
To be assured of eternal life, it's necessary to know what God wants of each one of us. He has great plans for our time here on Earth. We are not here to do simply what we want to do each day, but what God wants us to do. If you are not sure of your direction in life, start by asking God for help.
Pick up a Bible. You may want to start with the Gospel, which can be found in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Then discover the Church Jesus founded in her perennial teachings. From there, Jesus will guide you to your eternal destination. Simply be open to the voice of God and His Word, Jesus Christ.
