67 - Christ Fit

Ponder this. Many are familiar with the recent explosion in the CrossFit method of physical fitness. CrossFit is designed to achieve greater levels of health and fitness through programs that meet people where they are and take them to the next level of fitness. Many hours each week are devoted to this goal of achieving higher levels of physical fitness.


Imagine if there were a program designed to take us to a higher level of spiritual fitness—a spiritual CrossFit, so to speak. If we devoted even a small fraction of the time to spiritual fitness that we spend on physical fitness, we could achieve amazing spiritual results.


Imagine a Christ Fit program where we train ourselves in the ways of Christ. We would gain spiritual strength, endurance, and a deeper love of our God. Now is the time to start your own Christ Fit program.


Just like in any physical fitness regimen, our spiritual fitness requires time and planning. Our spiritual fitness regime must include daily prayer, reading Sacred Scripture, and loving and serving others.


Become Christ Fit by making it a priority to devote time each day to God.
