Ponder this. Do you ever get annoyed with people? This happens to me more often than I'd like to admit. For example, I recently boarded a plane where open seating is the policy. I was one of the first to board, and I sat my happy self down in the third row by the window, knowing it was not a full flight. I was anticipating a comfortable ride with an open middle seat.

To my surprise, with a nearly empty plane, a woman plops herself down in the seat next to me, the middle seat, while even the aisle seat and the rest of the plane remained empty. Can you imagine my annoyance? It lasted the entire flight.

We may not understand why there are people who annoy us daily, but the Lord may be providing us with opportunities to grow in patience, kindness, and understanding. Don't allow anger, resentment, or rage to prevail. Say a prayer for the virtues needed to overcome those who annoy you, and the Lord will provide you with the strength to handle these daily aggravations.
